A New Year for spiritual growth

Each new year, people are seeking to make significant changes in their lives. They desire to focus on particular resolutions. Whether it is to lose weight, financial, or change in some lifestyle – people desire change and that begins with a fresh start. This is true for those who are desiring to engage in recovery, or are already in recovery. Therefore, within the New Year, make it a resolution to read through the Bible for the next year.

The best resource for reading the Bible in one year is the Charles Stanley Life Principles Daily Bible.

Another great resource to invest in for spiritual growth is the timeless classic devotional by Oswald Chambers – My Utmost for His Highest.

Another great resource for women, who are in recovery, is the book by Lysa Terkurst and published in 2016 – Uninvited Guest. There is a DVD Study and other resources.

And, for men, this book is also helpful: Six Battles Every Man Must Win – And the Ancient Secrets You’ll Need to Succeed.

As you focus on the new year – what you desire to achieve and change in the coming year – let these resources provide helpful insight to a genuine and authentic spiritual growth. By clicking on the images, it will refer you to where you are able to purchase them. Purchasing these resources (and other’s that will be forthcoming in future articles) here, you are helping support this ministry and website.
