Seek after His Will

~ July 6, 2020 – Evening Devotion ~

Teach me to do thy will; for thou art my God: thy spirit is good; lead me into the land of uprightness
~ Psalm 143: 10, KJV ~

It is in David’s weakness that he relied on the guidance of God to teach and lead him. Like David, we may not fully understand God’s divine will and plan for our lives. Our understanding is limited – finite – compared to the infinite and limitless understanding of God. He is intentional and has a purpose for our lives. And, while we may not fully comprehend God’s divine will and plan for our lives, we are empowered to trust in His divine Sovereign Will.

Each day, we seek God’s will through obedience to His word. We entrust our lives to Him without any hesitation. By doing so, God is sovereign and graceful to where He strengthens us to meet any challenge we may face. His strength becomes our strength. His wisdom teaches and guides us into His righteousness and peace. It is the only Christian attitude and mindset that we must have. His will directs us into all things for a purpose.

~Today’s Prayer and Meditation ~

Heavenly Father, as I study your word and seek your guidance daily, give me the wisdom to know your will for my life. The courage to follow wherever you may lead me. Today and forever. In Jesus Name, Amen.

  1. This I found:
Continue in beleif to see and become new as are seen from God by Son for us. As proven is so, being risen forever as High Priest never to die again
For when I look back, I see the changes made, by being in agreement with God, over things I did, and might still do, as that Old Man hates to be dead. As seen as dead from God Father by Risen Son.
So I continue, in Romans 6, to see new by Romans 6:11
Brother, thank you for the fellowship in your posts
