May Our Burdens be Light as we Live Faithfully and Mindfully

My son, peace be unto thy soul; thine adversity and thine afflictions shall be but a small moment; And then, if thou endure it well, God shall exalt thee on high; thou shalt triumph over all thy foes.~ Doctrine and Covenants 121: 7-8 ~ Life presses all kinds of burdens on each of us, some…

Being of Good Cheer Takes Courage and Resilient Bold Faith

In the final days of His mortal life, Jesus Christ told His Apostles of the persecutions and hardships they would suffer. Delivered Out of Our Afflictions

Our Heavenly Father desires to help us through our journey. This includes guiding us in solving our problems. When we are walking in obedience to His divine will and plan, he will help us face those difficult issues and bring us through them. We either allow ourselves to sink deeper and withdraw further into our suffocating sadness; or, we do the courageous and difficult task of pulling ourselves out of despair by focusing on the hope and light of God’s love, mercy, and grace.
